The temples in Rajasthan are master pieces
of architectural beauty. Rajasthan is
proof of many architectural movements.
These movements have left important evidence
during the 8th to 11th century. From 4
to 5 centuries, the architecture was inspired
by the Guptas. Gurjara Pratihara dynasty,
which was from Mandore, has emerged from
a new style of architecture of the temples.
During this period, some temples have
also been built in western Rajasthan,
in Osiyan and Chittorgarh.
The important features of temples in Rajasthan
in western Rajasthan are the arrow or
sikhara and complex sculptures in the
outer room, which is known as mandap.
The mandap is generally located in front
of the Inner Sanctum. In most temples
in Rajasthan, the main structure of the
temple is surrounded by a number of small
temples around. If you want to visit this
architectural masterpiece, then you should
visit Kumbha Shyam temples along with

Frescos of temples Kiradu, which is located
in the west Barmer region is a great site
for art lovers. This style, which is known

where along with fresco sculptures; the
arrow at various levels is also remarkable.
Many Jain temples were built during the
10th century which is among the temples
in Rajasthan. Dilwara Temples of Mount

in Ghanerao, which is in the southern
region of Rajasthan. The most beautiful

4 faces. In it, there are decorated mandapas
adorned with sculptures of work that offers
a wonderful symmetrical design. The group
of Jain temples situated in Jaisalmer
is also remarkable.

the Temples in Rajasthan are not those
which have been built. Many temples were
destroyed during the first Muslim invasions.
