The only place in India where you could get to see the vast deserts is Rajasthan where you could explore the Thar Desert. The Rajasthan desert safari can be conducted in two ways, either a camel safari or a jeep Safari. The Camel safari has a distinct charm, although it is slow and may not be able to cover a lot of places. The jeep safaris ensure that you get to move around the deserts faster and hence cover a lot more areas.
