Banswara Tourism

Banswara is the native place of Bhils forming 39% of the total population of Banswara. Bhil Bansna chief was killed in the battle by Maharawal Jagmal Singh. The location is known as the City of Hundred Islands at Mahi River, the border district and also around many islands situated above here. This river also separates Dungarpur and Banswara district into 2 different regions. Banswara is in the south-east of Rajasthan.

Udaipur is in the west of Banswara, Chittaurgarh on the North, and the states of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, south and east of Banswara, respectively. The nearest airport is Udaipur and the station is Ratlam. The climate of Banswara is an important aspect of Banswara tourism. The best time to visit Banswara is between August and March. Its climate is like any other place in Rajasthan, very hot summers and cold winters. The annual rainfall is 28 cm. An important aspect of Banswara Tourism is that people can speak English and Hindi and the local language of Rajasthan, which is useful for tourists to communicate.
